NDIS ILC Grant Announcement
Exciting news!
We are delighted to announce that our collaboration with Amaze, Autism SA and Autism Tasmania has been successful in receiving funding through the NDIS ILC National Information Program to deliver a national autism information helpline over the next three years.
The national helpline – Autism Connect – will provide independent, evidence-based information, resources and referral via telephone, email and web to support autistic people, their families and carers, health professionals, researchers, teachers, employers and the broader community.
Autism Awareness Australia looks forward to delivering the digital component of this program ‘Autism: What Next’. Our platform will be designed to help parents and individuals with autism in the crucial time just after diagnosis.
Delivered via an interactive website, we will ensure people have access to the best quality, evidence based information and resources to ensure they are empowered to support themselves or their loved ones on the spectrum.
We look forward to working with these other fine autism organisations to roll out a game-changing resource for the autism community of Australia.
